Greenside (1937) by Connell, Ward and Lucas

This Virgina Water house was built in 1937 but demolished in 2003. The house was situated near the 17th green of Wentworth golf course and a listed building. The house attracted the ire of golfers and neighbours who considered it an eyesore. The owner David Beadle, who authorized the demolishment, was found guilty of demolishing without listed building consent and fined £15,000 and costs.
